  My grandmothers side is McGraths. I went to Ireland over the summer (08) and we went to Cashel Castle where I found the McGrath code of arms I thought it was really cool and then i found this site and if you look under the castles and cashel I was there and have pictures with the code of arms on the wall. I just thought this was really neat. and hello all other McGraths =)

  Wow! Great site! Interesting to find why my family is so artistic and musically inclined. We all write songs, read, play instruments and love art. We all also love the sea, lakes etc. Wonderful to see our clan spirit! Have always wanted to connect with my Irish relatives.

  Trying to track down anyone who knew Kathleen Bridget McGrath in Cape Town, South Africa in 1963. Mother was a school teacher, father worked for city council. I am Kathleens biological daughter and am seeking information about the family.

  My grandfather Daniel McGrath came from Tipperary c. 1896 and married Elizabeth Regan from Boyle, Roscommon in Cleveland Ohio USA They had 8 children, 25 grandchildren. Cousins visited Tippperary but the church records were destroyed. Wonderful sie!

  Im a Judge in San Diego, California. My McGrath heritage originates in County Leitrim, which I visited in April 07 and where, after doing some research, I believe I found the parcel where my ancestors lived near a place called Nailers Cross.

I am the son of Mary Madeline McGrath, Daughter to Francis McGrath, The migrated from Boston to Calif in the 50s. I am in Ontaio Canada now, but was born in Calif.
